Ellisha’s Artful Angles

Meet Voxfrock Rookie shooter Ellisha Kriesl, below, assigned to photography legend and mentor Monty Coles for VAMFF‘s duration.

In this, her first photo essay for Voxfrock, Ellisha shoots VAMFF’s zenith show, the National Graduate Showcase, from her own unique angles. Her eye curates each frame, focussing the play of light and mix of textures and discarding all that’s superfluous to the most elegant, evocative image.

Ellisha is a third year BA of Photography student at RMIT with a particular love for surrealism. She works, she says, “To create fashion editorial photographs that are playful, curious, and that resonate with people on an emotional level.”

That sounds about right to the Voxfrockers. We love Ellisha’s work and know you will too. Bon appetit.
