Were you spectacularly fashionable, terribly chic or looking utterly lovely on The Plaza last night? Of course you were! And we snapped you as you strode to the shows, drifted between bars, communed with your besties in the bustle of Virgin Australia Melbourne Fashion Festival between Melbourne Museum and the Royal Exhibition Buildings. Voxfrock Rookie Ash Bagga (below) asked, “Who are you? What are you wearing?” and Voxfrock’s in-house legend Monty Coles photographed you for our first Street Beat muster of 2019.

She’s got a Masters Degree in Fashion Management and Entrepreneurship and has worked in the fashion and beauty industries in the UK and Australia for more than a decade.

Melissa (Melly) Singer, national fashion editor of The Age and The Sydney Morning Herald: “Dress yourself in something that makes you feel great . My top is from Bangkok and the skirt is Manning Cartell. I am carrying my grand mother’s bag and I am a journalist by profession.”

Kallie Blauhorn, Melbourne Fashion Festival board director: “I love ruffles; it’s a key trend this year and I always wear what makes me happy . My dress is MSGM and shoes by Midnight OO. I got them online and love them.”

Nathan Battle, works in retail: “My style is to be myself and be real.”
