Maestro Galliano is officially hitched to Maison Martin Margiela’s wagon, trotting out his first pod entitled Artisanal (“…an arty schemozzle with pings of gorgeousness….”) to warm claps from Anna Wintour (in an in-from-the-cold gesture, he was also chosen to present her outstanding achievement award at the British Fashion Awards the previous evening), Alber Elbaz, et. al.. So, there you go. It appears we have all moved on – as you do – though Voxfrock still puzzles at the ferocity of JG’s expulsion from the global Fashionocracy in 2011 for one drunken/drugged outburst during which his legal “responsibility” was so obviously diminished. Urgent bulletin for wanna-be Muiccias, Karls and Johnnys: the deadline for entry in the Australian Fashion Chamber’s BT Emerging Fashion Designer Award is extended to midnight, this Sunday, January 18.
