MFW’s dining runways chime like laid-back throw-backs to a by-gone era of leisurely Parisian salons and cashed-up punters frock shopping over day-time flutes and elegant afternoon teas. Bottom-line: they’re an exceptionally nice way to take in the trends.
Voxfrock rookie graduates Carlin John Stephenson and Reannon Smith shot fashion week’s Commons Collective dining runway, a mash of mo-derne brands with a linking aesthetic of heart-warming colour and applicability to dress up occasions such as the imminent racewear season. Carlin and Reannon (scroll south to meet them) are members of our MFW 2023 Voxfrock Rookie crew but in truth are accomplished professional fashion photographers, each with a unique POV. We love their work; know you will too. Bon appetit and be sure to click back tomorrow for the all-photographer crew’s ongoing dailies from Melbourne Fashion Week. PS: Labels featured in the Commons Collective runway: Elk, Ginger & Smart, Kirrikin, Mastani, Perple, Scotch & Soda, Van Der Kooij.
