Pink is a big trend for Spring: bright, dusty, baby, blush, flesh, fluoro. Yep, all pinks welcome! Even red is a trend for spring because – errrrm – it’s kind of pink, ok?!
At last night’s Premium Runway 5, pink-spiration was everywhere, showcased by Gorman, Kuwaii, Búl, Kate Sylvester, Life with Bird and Alice McCall.
Gorman showed its funky jungle side with, as usual, bright pops of colour. And, one of those colours, yes, pink. And who’s going to say no to a cute pink bird print dress? Not me.
Kuwaii, Life with Bird and Alice McCall made use of the baby, dusty, flesh and blush pink tones, each with their own flair.
Búl and Kate Sylvester opted for brighter, more distinct pinks and reds, sometimes even clashing both together (Kate Sylvester, main picture, top).
